Module 2: The Kneeling Position
The Base
Always start developing the position from the ground up.
The
kneeling roll, rear ankle, and left foot make a line with the target, before picking up the rifle.
Their right knee rests on the ground on a slight angle. This sets the balance point as seen in figure 1.
The ankle of the rear foot rests on the kneeling roll.
The toes of the rear foot are straight and not curled, as seen in figure 2.
The athlete sits directly on heel of the rear foot, either directly on the bone or on the right glute.
